Ive known what to say for months,
I knew the day would come.
But standing here before you,
All my thoughts are gone.
You sit there in anticipation,
My words wont come to me.
The nighttime is over, the sun is up,
But a light Ive yet to see.
Window panels show me the world,
Deserted and uncomfortable,
In my mind, my words are there,
Unheard and indescribable.
In September, it seemed all over,
Vanished from a dream.
In February, angels sing
All is well, it seems.
My mind converts my tears to peace,
Theres nothing left to say,
I choke up on my words and leave,
But my thoughts will stay.
