How can I deal with this insomnia?

I have had an issue for a while now with insomnia. I am not under any stress and am not suffering from depression. I can’t think of any reason as to why I can’t sleep except that my bed is uncomfortable. I can’t afford a new mattress, what can I do so that I can sleep, it is effecting my work. Please offer me some advice.
That happened to me too, for two nights I was wide awake, and didn’t even get more than 2 hours of sleep, but now I’m getting my usual 8 hours. Melatolin only worked sometimes for me. It is a natural sleeping remedy. It worked 1/3 times I took it. Don’t read an enthralling novel before you sleep, and don’t exercise 3 hours before you plan to go to sleep. It takes me an hour to fall asleep, so don’t be worried if it takes you longer than most people to fall asleep.

r u an aqaurius? cuz i am and ive had the smae problem. id suggest going to sleep when you are actualy tired because just lying there makes you more frustrated. Also dont watch tv or listen to music an hour before bed becuase it supposedly stimulates thought. I like to take a shower before bed and then slip into a fresh pair of pjs. or maybe you’re too hot? i sleep with my fan on
