My friend has insomnia and well, she’s been taking something for it,but the thing is, even when she gets sleep, she still feels very tired. Is there anything else that could be causing her not being able to sleep and not feeling energized when she does?
There are a multitude of things that could be causing your friend to lose sleep.
She might be anemic - which means she needs more iron. Anemia causes a person to feel tired and lethargic, even after sleep. She should be eating lots of leafy green vegetables and proteins to replace iron that is not in her blood. She can also take an iron supplement. It would be prudent for her to see her doctor to get a blood test to diagnose this.
It could be a number of other factors: stress, depression, etc. Make sure she sees a doctor about this if it continues.
