If it’s truly insomnia, I don’t think you can.
I don’t know, maybe you need to sleep on a better bed, or with different blankets, or pillows, or in a different area, or in a different temperature, or a place with less sound/light, or maybe a calming sound that makes you sleep after a while like a fan (that makes me fall asleep anyway…).

what is ur job, is ur job easier one i.e u don’t have to work too hard. u have to work out so that u get tired, definitely u would be able to get a sound sleep. The reason may be you think while you are trying to sleep. A person must be relaxed at that time.

I had the same problem, it’s horrible, I know.
Also things like stress can affect your sleeping pattern, and a away to relive this is doing strenuos excercise earlier in the day.
Here are a couple of things that might work, most of them helped me.
Try not to drink any tea (unless herbal) or coffee after midday.
Don’t do any excercise within an hour before trying to sleep
Try and get into a regular pattern before going to sleep. your body should soon learn to recognise this and get into a habit.
What also really helped me was music: it sounds strange but listen to Damien Rice (his album o is what I use) really quiely a couple of times round and it just helps you drift off
Hope this helped, good luck

Read or perform a light chore until you feel sleepy. Then try to go back to sleep - or, if you’re feeling stressed or agitated, try some relaxation techniques.
Relax by listening to soft music or a meditation tape. Do yoga or gentle stretching.
Take a hot bath with aromatherapy soaps. Keep the lights dim. Bright light will make you more alert.
Try an herbal sleep remedy to induce sleepiness. Valerian, chamomile, catnip, lavender, lime flower, passion flower, hops or skullcap can be taken in tea or capsule form.
Snack on foods high in tryptophan, an amino acid that can help you relax. These include turkey, bananas, figs, dates, milk and tuna.
Essential oils can also help you relax. Add six to eight drops of lavender or marjoram to a bath, or put four drops of oil on your pillow.
Return to bed once you’re feeling sleepy and relaxed.
