Ar you going to bed when you’re tired or because its 10/11/12/whenever? Unless you absolutely have to be up early, stay up another couple of hours and go to bed exhausted. You’ll sleep so well it will make up for the lost hours of sleep. That’s how us college guys live of of 3-4 hours a night of sleep.

Do relaxing things for yourself to help relax the mind and body. Bubble bath, meditate, read, even read the Bible - it calms one down and works. Drink some decaffeinated herb tea while you read. Grocery store has one called Tension Tamer.

    Insomnia

Try reading a boring book. Taking a hot bath. Or even meditation. Clear you mind of all thoughts before lying down. Make sure the room is completely dark and there are no TV’s going. You may even want to try a serene tape of waterfalls, ocean waves or raindrops.

Try same time every night, cool temp room, no light, and maybe turn on a fan for the sound.
Also try drinking Chamomille tea, hot or iced, and taking calcium ( the entire daily dosage ) before bed time.
they should help your body relax naturally and become sleeppy.

Depends what you consider a sleeping pill. I take an herb called Valerian Root (can be found anywhere: Walgreen’s, etc.) that works amazingly well and is completely natural. You could also warm up some milk, it has the same effect as turkey (tryptophan), but only when heated.
