I have trouble falling asleep. I am so tired when I get to bed, and would like to fall asleep right away but I usually just end up twisting and turing for half of the night.

What should I do?

    i used to have the same problem. my Dr. told me about a supplement, all natural, non-addictive. it’s called melatonin. 60 tablets cost about $4.00. they are 2.5 mg. each {or higher if you wish, but the 2.5 work great} and all you need is one about 15 minutes before you go to bed. you really should try. i never used to even remember dreaming, now i do!…sweet dreams!~♥~

    Usually knowing the cause of insomnia will help solve the problem. For example, smoking can cause this. Also stress can do it to you. Drink a warm glass of milk before you go to bed, as it warms you up and makes you sleepy. Also there are natural remedies and aromas that will help you sleep that you can buy from health stores. You might want to try green tea. A word of advice, do not play the computer before going to sleep, as your mind is still active at least an hour after switching off. Reading a book is a good way to slow your mind down before going to sleep as you feel a sense of achievement when you close the book. Don’t drink coffee either before sleeping, as it makes your heart race and thus keeps you awake. It may also be your bed, turn the mattress around or sleep on the other side for a while. Pillows are also a major factor. Also, you might want to try to get some relaxing music, or have a green clock shining in your dark room. Hope this helps

    Drink warm milk before you sleep, or if you wake yourself in the middle of the night. Don’t take in caffeinated substances, unless this is a part of your medical prescriptions. But if you cannot go away from coffee, drink ginseng coffee.

    Simply go for relaxation techniques.

    (2) Clasp your hands tightly interlocking the fingers. Then with left hand fingers press on the back of the right hand and then with right hand fingers, press on the back of the left hand. repeat for about 1 to 2 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day.

    (3) Insomnia : The above mentioned treatment can be taken for 5 to 12 minutes at night in bed to ensure good sleep and cure insomnia.

    (4) Take 2 glasess of gold/silver/copper charged water reduced from 8 glasses of water daily.

    (5) Kali Phos 1 m (a Biochemic medicine) : Take 8 pills in the eveining between 8 to 9 p.m. for 10 days, then once a week. After 10 days Kali Phos 12 x 4+4 pills every day. Complete course is of 45 days.

    People from all over the world suffered for insomia your main concern right Know is to go see your doc. my daughter also used to suffer from insomia and she took almost every thing th at is on the market and what other people told her to take; she had a bad allergy reaction and almost died, because it’s interfere with her other medication ; her doctor told her that people (some) can’t take a lot of medicine thats is on the shelves(in the store) with out a doctor, prescription; so he gave her so mepill to help her sleep it was in a small dose and she took it for a while and now she is off of it. these are the althernative he gave her drink some warm milk before going to bed, don’t drink alcohol before going to bed and coffee and tea that has caffeine because it will keep you up all night, he all so told her to drink some yogi-tea (healing formula bed-time organic natural sleep= aid) and it help. but as i said, don’t take any thing with-out your doctor, advise because it could, lead to a bad reaction, since we all react different to medication and sleeping- aid be careful. go see your, doc. take care ;;; be bless.
