This is a type of insomnia that is best described by having racing thoughts that all relate to insomnia and trying to fall asleep. Then you keep worrying about falling asleep..then I generally panic which causes adrenaline to release then all hopes of sleep vanish

Sounds silly I know, but I just can’t seem to avoid it. I would love to hear your thoughts on how to deal

I also suffer from a omething similar. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything to help me sleep (either natural or a prescription). One suggestion my doctor had was to write down my thoughts. Once they’re on paper, I wouldn’t think about them. He said that this works for some. It didn’t work for me, as I found I was up all night writing instead of sleeping. It was better (I guess) then staring at the ceiling!!!! It may work for you though.
