Hi everybody, in this video I share with you my natural herbal approach on how to remedy period pain. Insomnia causes and treatments are many; the disorders could be stress related, have psychological basis, or be a medical problem. The treatments are based around the type of insomnia. It is a terrible type of disorder that involves not being able to fall or stay asleep despite the fact that you have plenty of opportunity to be well-rested.

Insomnia is particularly tenacious because it is a symptom that increases the intensity of the cause. For example, if you have insomnia due to a psychological disorder, the lack of sleep will not help the disorder. Things like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder can include things like paranoia and excessive worry. This could keep you up at night. Because you are kept up, your mind is not able to rest. It becomes weaker, allowing your disorder to have a stronger effect on you, making you sleep even less.

The key is to get rid of the problem entirely, not just ‘make yourself sleep’ with pills. The insomnia is a symptom, not the actual problem. If you are stressed, you need to find better ways to manage it, get help, or get a project done. On occasion, sleeping aids can be good if they are properly taken. They could break you out of the cycle by getting you enough rest for a few nights, enabling you to work better during the day, and then reducing your stress so you can sleep naturally.

Psychological disorders causing insomnia can only be helped through proper medication and therapy. Sometimes patients stay awake until they physically cannot do it anymore and fall into an exhausted sleep. This is extreme, but it is important that people sleep for long periods of time rather than short, broken sleep.

If you have a medical problem that keeps you from sleeping, you should contact your doctor immediately to solve it. You may have to go on some form of medication, switch the one you have, or get off a medicine entirely. There are different surgeries (especially sinus surgeries) that could potentially help.

A couple of small factors may also be adding up to make you an insomniac. These could be based on how you sleep. If you sleep with any sort of light in your room or any noise playing, like a radio or television, turn it off. Get used to sleeping in the total darkness and silence. You may think you will hate it, but once your mind gets used to doing it, your body may surprise you with how well you sleep. If you must have noise, get a white noise machine.

Other things could contribute. Sometimes people wear certain pajamas or use certain blankets out of habit. Little do they realize the pajamas are too baggy or the blankets are too heavy. Small things like this can disturb you while you sleep or keep you from falling asleep in the first place because you cannot relax. Try different things to see how you fare. It could be as simple as turning up or down the heat in the room.
