What is the best OTC medication for insomnia?
29 Sep 2009
Without a risk of dependency
Without losing effectiveness over time
Stay away from the Tylenol or Ibuprofen PM type meds, they can cause damage over long term use. Take these ONLY if you have a headache, muscle aches etc at the time you are taking them. That is what they are for.
Forinsomniaa, try natural medications. They are available atWalgreen’ss, Walmart, health food stores etc.
I like Melatonin, Valerian root, Sleepy time tea, etc. They are natural and non habit forming.
By the way…melanoma is a form of cancer, not a natural sleeping aide.

Benadryl works very very well if taken correctly. and Melanoma is a herbal pill take two of either with a glass of water. take Benadryl about a 30 Min’s before bed and Melanoma about 20 min before bed. guarantee to work.

Try taking a Benadryl. When I can’t sleep, a Benadryl always does the trick.
The main ingredient, diphenhydramine not only works great as an antihistamine, but is also an effective sedative.
That’s why diphenhydramine is used in sleep medicines like Nytol and Unisom.
