My best friend took some valerian tea. It seemed to work fine for her. She relaxed enough to let herself fall asleep.

    Try going to be every night at the same time and waking up at the same time. Your body’s internal clock should kick in or you could sleep with "scruffy"

    According to Traditional Chinse Medicine….insomnia comes from the heart. Stress has alot to play here which effects the heart. Find a way to get happy!

    I myself have great trouble getting to sleep but this is self inflicted i.e. I drink a lot of coffee during the day, go to bed with the telly on and have a very irregular sleep pattern (at least at the weekends when i often have too much sleep). I think it is important to have a set routine and don’t have any stimulants in the evening. Valerian is a herb associated with the treatment of insomnia although I haven’t tried it myself.
